Quality: Red Reishi mushrooms have been consumed for centuries and are sources of many nutrients including triterpenoids, polysaccharides (Beta-D-glucans), and Adenosine. Half Hill Farm's Red Reishi Mushroom Dual Extract processes the fruit bodies and mycelium of USDA Certified Organic Red Reishi (Ganoderma lucidum or Lingzhi) mushrooms through a lengthy hot water (distilled water), vacuum extraction, and alcohol (USDA Certified Organic USP) extraction processes. We use a 10 micron filtration process that does not remove spore. Our full spectrum dual extract is manufactured and bottled in our FDA registered manufacturing kitchen for our USDA Certified Organic farm in Woodbury, TN and has a shelf life of 1 year.
Liquid extract vs powdered capsules: Powder mushroom capsules available in the U.S. are usually the mycelium of the mushroom grown on grain (usually a rice substrate) and ground into a capsule. Most popular brands are made in this manner. They are the easiest to manufacture, fastest to market, and most profitable to scale.
Liquid extracts are an older, slower method. Dual extracts combine the hot water and alcohol extractions over a month process and remove most of the mushroom's biomass weight for a more bioavailable full spectrum of extractable compounds. Liquid extracts using fully mature mushrooms ensures none of the growing substrate is part of the end product.
Our Red Reishi Dual Extract comes in two size: 100 ml (3.38 oz. - ten servings) and 200 ml (6.76 oz. 20 servings). Use in tea, coffee or infuse into baked goods, candy or other food products to add Reishi mushrooms to your diet. Reishi has a distinct bitter flavor that dilutes with full servings of food and drink.

My husband has non -Hodgkin's lymphoma which is in remission now. When he was on Chemo for 6 months he still took his wild turkey mushroom extract. Chemo usually wipes out or decreases a persons white blood cells. My husband blood work showed a increase in these blood cells. In my opinion it was fighting the cancer. He finished his Chemo 6 months ago. He has to see the Dr every 3 months for 2 years. He has continued taking the turkey mushroom & the Red Reishi mushroom -which helps the lymp system. I believe this product is helping the inflammation in my joints. They are quite inflamed and painful and taking the mushrooms on a regular basis allows more use of my hands and I am hoping with regular use will help even more. Thank you for this wonderful product. I will be ordering more soon
I just love your products and am grateful beyond words for having access to them in their purest available form. I have been struggling with sever stomach pain for almost a year. I had lost weight, could barely eat. I have been gluten and dairy free for 10 years and my doctors and I couldn't quite figure out what the issue was. I found out about your Turkey Tail Mushroom and how it helps with digestive issues. Well, after about half the bottle of Turkey Tail and Reishi Mushroom extract, for the first time within a year I am back on tract. I have a few other bits that I am doing to aid in my digestion and rebuild from within but it wasn't until I received your products that the tables truly turned. Gratitude beyond words!
