Quality: Turkey Tail mushrooms grow all over the world and are a source of many nutrients including polysaccharides (PSK) and polysaccharopeptide (PSP). Half Hill Farm's Turkey Tail Mushroom Dual Extract processes the fruit bodies of wildcrafted Turkey Tail (Trametes Versicolor) mushrooms through a lengthy hot water (distilled water), vacuum extraction, and alcohol (USDA Certified Organic pharmaceutical grade USP) extraction processes. We use a filtration process that does not remove spore and polysaccharides (this causes a slight visible sediment - shake before use). Our full spectrum dual extract is manufactured and bottled in our FDA registered manufacturing kitchen for our USDA Certified Organic farm in Woodbury, TN and has a shelf life of 1 year.

Our Turkey Tail Dual Extract comes in two size: 100 ml (3.38 oz. - ten servings $25) and 200 ml (6.76 oz. 20 servings $45). Use in tea, coffee or infuse into baked goods, candy or other food products to add Turkey Tail mushrooms to your diet. Turkey Tail has a bitter flavor that dilutes with full servings of food and drink.

Powder capsules vs. liquid extract: The reason it is not recommended people eat Turkey Tail mushrooms is because the body cannot digest the tough, chitinous tissue of the woody mushroom. Powder capsules available in the U.S. are usually the mycelium and sometimes fruit body of this mushroom grown on grain (usually a rice substrate) and ground into a capsule. Powders made in this manner are certainly the easiest to manufacture, most widely available and marketed, but the compounds of these type capsules are less bio-available to the human body than liquid extractions and contain a small percentage of the growing substrate. This creates inconsistent comparisons between powdered capsules making liquid extraction the preferred studied method. Dual extracts that combine the hot water and alcohol extractions make the full spectrum of compounds more bio-available than powdered capsules. Liquid extracts are more consistent because of a standardized process that also ensures none of the growing substrate is part of the end product. Liquid extracts are also a preferred ancient method of extraction.

Blessing

I just started taking turkey tail liquid over a month ago. I have stage 4 breast cancer and I went for my monthly shots and exams. My tumors are shrinking and my labs have changed for the better tremendously. My Dr. Was shocked and did not start me on another chemo pill that she intended to do that visit. Cured Tick-Borne Disease!

I was diagnosed in May 2016 with a tick-borne disease. (Not Lyme, but a similar type of disease with similar symptoms.) The aftermath of these diseases can last for months if not years! As part of my treatment, I took Turkey Tail Mushrooms. Within 3 weeks of starting to take them, I was completely better. My doctor could not believe it, and said that all the bloodwork indicated that the disease was gone. The biggest problem with those diseases is inflammation and auto-immune response. I really believe the Turkey Tail was the factor that made the difference! Definitely take it in your coffee, it took a couple days to get used to it, but it kind of tastes like vanilla, so was easy to get used to!

I use the Red Reishi for general health, but our use of Turkey Tail is the real reason we have chosen Half Hill Farm. Our dog has type B, Stage 4 Lymphoma. We used the Turkey Tail throughout his chemo protocol and now continue to use it as part of his daily diet. He continues in remission and we attribute the Turkey Tail, in part, to his ability to withstand the chemo with minimal side effects and for maintaining his good health while in remission.

feel the benefits

I’ll spare you all the details and the absolute devastation stories that always accompany these things and skip to treatment. I have completed 24 rounds of IV chemotherapy and 24 rounds of focused radiation, two extensive abdominal surgeries with resection of the colon, two port lines placed in my chest and currently a PICC line in my right arm. I’m on continuous IV Morphine and Dilaudid, alternated monthly and am set to begin oral chemotherapy called Lonsurf this coming Wednesday. Needless to say, between surgeries, therapies and medicines (narcotics mostly to blame) I had long struggled with bowel issues, had horrific hemorrhoids and was in the beginning talks of Ostomy creation. Things were looking bleak and tumors were growing. Fast forward now almost 5 full years later, which I was initially ensured I would never see, and ever since I began taking your Turkey Tail mushroom extract approximately two years ago, I maintain my own bowels to this day, having been able to avoid the ostomy and many of the laxatives and have had tumor shrinkage on multiple scans. I was turned on to the product by the mother of my brothers co-worker, herself a colon cancer patient but on your extract and SWORE by it. In these situations, death being the alternative, you’re willing to give things a try that you might have otherwise been close minded to. I 100% credit your turkey tail extract for having never to have had the ostomy created and the ability to move my own bowels, as well as any tumor shrinkage. In fact, if I forget to take the extract for 2 consecutive nights, it takes me almost a week of heavy laxative use to return the bowel to normal function. I have had zero constipation issues while faithfully taking the extract nightly before bed. In the same two days without the extract I always have an increase in general pain and am noticeably more comfortable while taking the extract. I take the extract now, religiously, every night of my life before bed, in varying doses depending on my current treatment regimen. perfect blood work!

My husband has non -Hodgkin's lymphoma which is in remission now. When he was on Chemo for 6 months he still took his wild turkey mushroom extract. Chemo usually wipes out or decreases a persons white blood cells. My husband blood work showed a increase in these blood cells. In my opinion it was fighting the cancer. He finished his Chemo 6 months ago. He has to see the Dr every 3 months for 2 years. He has continued taking the turkey mushroom & the Red Reishi mushroom -which helps the lymp system. quality of life

Our almost 12 year old golden girl, Serenity, was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma of the spleen on Nov. 20, 2018. I was told that we only had a few days left, that is was aggressive, and there was nothing we could do. However, through some research and desperation I came across a study from Penn State in which they had used Turkey Tail mushroom extract on dogs with the same cancer as Serenity’s. no treatment side-effects

I can't say for sure this this is due to the use of this product, but I have remained breast cancer free, since September of 2015 and have been using the Turkey Tail extract. I did have radiation, but I had no side-effects, whatsoever. No fatigue, no burning (a little redness is all), no nothing. My radiation oncologist was shocked at how well I did. Could it have been the Turkey Tail? No one know, for sure, but I'll take it! I did use the product throughout my treatment.

Cancer free

My father was diagnosed with invasive bladder cancer about 2 years ago. He immediately started taking your Turkey Tail extract while also making some dramatic changes to his diet. Due to the volume of tumor he had to undergo a cystectomy (removal of bladder) but has been healthy since with no signs of the cancer having spread. Thank you for offering this product. Great Products

I am dealing with Stage IV colon cancer. Although against chemo completely, I had to complete 6 rounds before any attempt of surgery would be made. The chemo was horrible but I took Turkey Tail extract as well as others supplements during my treatments. My weekly blood counts remained extremely high baffling my oncologist. I told her what I was doing and she did not fight it. This kept me from having to do the full dreaded Neulasta booster after each round. I am a firm believer in these mushroom products and continue them in the mix of what I am doing. Great products..great company...thank you!

Great product

My mother has been battling breast cancer and is on this will let you know how she is doing .. I have my sister on this as well and she said for the first time she is having regular daily 2x a day bowel movements she usually goes 1x every 2 weeks.. I personally have been on turkey tail now going on 2 months and I can tell when I skip a day I have struggles with irregular bowel. auto immune hashimotos PE and so much more.. with this I am regular go 3x a day and my energy is coming back ad my glands in neck and arms and groin are NO longer swollen. I also suffer with candida for over 20 years. and my glands in my neck are usually swollen to my thyroid now they are pea size.. !! A product I trust

I have really enjoyed using the Turkey Tail extract in my morning coffee; I feel energized yet calm, and the taste doesn't affect the coffee negatively at all in any detectable way. In fact now I'm so used to the Turkey Tail in my coffee that I feel like something is missing if I leave it out. I have papillary thyroid carcinoma and although I do not know if any of my complementary therapies are helping to keep the tumor from growing any further to the point where surgery and possibly radiation treatment will be necessary, I am confident that the mushroom extracts are helping me to stay as healthy as possible so that my body can do the work of keeping the cancer in check.

hardly any chemo side effects

i just started undergoing chemo for breast cancer and have been taking the turkey tail extract for a month prior. i hardly had any side effects and feel great. i'm also taking supplement, but taking this extract feels really important. the price seems a little high considering how much is needed daily, yet i highly recommend.

HPV/Abnormal pap

I started taking these turkey tail supplements after 2 years of being HPV positive and one abnormal Pap smear (CIN 1). A year later (taking the turkey tail not every day but quite a few), and I got the news my HPV had cleared and my pap smear came back normal. Since my body hadn't been able to clear the HPV on its own, I credit this to the turkey tail. (Some research shows it helps clear HPV). I'm still taking it for anti-cancer health benefits. Normal Pap and HPV Negative

A year ago, I had an abnormal pap smear test result & tested positive for the high risk strain HPV 18. I was devastated and very worried. Fortunately, the colposcopy showed no dysplasia but some inflammation. I researched and read the benefits of Turkey Tail Mushroom and found Half Hill Farm. I have been adding it to my morning cup of organic coffee ever since and I order this product regularly. I'm never without it. k9 hemangiosarcoma

This turkey tail is the real deal. When my 10 1/2 year old Yellow Lab Abigail was diagnosed with lingual hemangiosarcoma in June 2020, I could not believe it. We had just had surgery on my 13 year old Yellow lab boy Eli the month before for anal sac adenocarcinoma. Hearing hemangiosarcoma took my breath away. I immediately got online to find something that may help her. I found turkey tail and immediately ordered the one used in the Penn State Study of 2012. After ultrasounds, chest x rays, and a full blood work up we found out that her tongue was the primary sight and there was no sign of it elsewhere. This is so rare, and for hemangiosarcoma it brings much hope. An amazing surgeon removed part of her tongue and I began to look for a more local source of Turkey Tail. I found Half Hill Farms, and when I saw Dual extract I knew that was the way to go. I figured that not only would she get great absorption, and potency, it would come into contact with the actual sight, which had cancer cells on the margins. Her last checkup was 3 weeks ago, and no one can believe how amazing she looks, and absolutely no sign of cancer. On June 23rd 2021 she will be a year out from surgery and if there is no sign of cancer she will be considered cancer free. Mom

I actually use Turkey Tail for my 92 lb rescue German Shepherd. On Jan 12, 2020, he had his 2nd Ear surgery to remove a tumor and they removed his entire canal and sewed his ear opening completely closed. According to labs, they got all the margins. Feb 29th, I notice a pecan shape near the surgical sight. By the time we had it aspirated and he visited a chemo oncologist then, got to his first radiation visit, it was the size of a softball! I wish I could share a picture! Aggressive is putting it mildly. Mar 30, 2020, 1st radiation visit of 4. He developed an abscess on top of his tumor, on antibiotics for 6 weeks, postponing radiation. I used a Korean remedy called HemoHim and Factor 4Life to clear it up. Antibiotics didn’t work. Fiiiinally, back to radiation. By his 3rd of 4 visits, the radiation oncologist said he couldn’t even feel it with palpitations and now to chemo to get the microscopic remnants. I took him back to his chemo oncologist and she came out to the car (Covid time-we aren’t going inside the vets office-the tech comes out to get him) but she personally came out to say WOW!
