Our Kombucha SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast) are made with love at our commercial kombucha brewery in Woodbury, Tennessee using all USDA certified organic ingredients. Each SCOBY contains one (1) cup of our kombucha mother of vinegar, one (1) SCOBY and a one page instruction sheet on how to use it. SCOBYs are typically purchased by people making their own kombucha at home who have all the other ingredients and equipment to brew and just need to either restart or refresh their kombucha mother.

This product requires some basic knowledge of the fermentation process, but with the included instruction and some general tips below, you should be well on your way to making a successful first batch! This is a living culture that can survive temps between 34-90 degree F. If you do not plan on using your SCOBY for a few days, store in the fridge. If you are receiving your SCOBY during expected high or low temperatures, try to ensure someone can receive your SCOBY to protect it.
